Happy Birthday Kaitlyn & Jessica

April 3, 2008 by rescuethetwins

If you were one that viewed RescueTheTwins.org on March 29th-31st, you probably noticed that Kaitlyn and Jessica are another year older!

Kaitlyn and Jessica are now 4 years old.

They’re due for their next immunizations.

They’re ready for pre-school.

They’re imaganitive and curious.

Where do babies come from? Where do people go when they die?

Why? Why? Why?

Happy Birthday, Kaitlyn and Jessica.

Progress!

February 13, 2008 by rescuethetwins

Though the surface may be still, the currents are raging underneath.

We made incredible progress yesterday, and it can only get better. I am
not going to reveal everything at this very moment, but be encouraged!

Katie and Jesse, you have so many of God’s people praying for you, who
love you and want to see you finally protected.

We are going to begin full-fledged fundraising to reach that $7000 goal by
the end of March, so we can take the final leap and get those girls into an
environment they deserve.

More updates as the week goes on and don’t forget! POST THOSE FLIERS!!!

RescueTheTwins.org Gets New Website

February 7, 2008 by rescuethetwins

RescueTheTwins.org has left GoDaddy hosting.

It’s easy to feel alone when trying to protect two young girls, with so little respect for women as people, and so much regard for them as sexual objects in our world. GoDaddy.com has officially chosen to target only male customers with no respect for women, and so we have made the decision that GoDaddy.com is NOT the right choice for our website to continue on.

Temporarily, you may need to go to RescueTheTwins.net for the next 24 hours until we’ve finished redirecting our domain names to our new host. For the time being, our domain names will remained registered with GoDaddy.

This has become a very positive thing for RescueTheTwins, as we’ve been able to locate a free web hosting provider that will save us approximately $13 every month, or $156 each year. So, all in all, God has turned all this into a very good event.

We are days away from a new campaign that will be the biggest event that we’ve been able to accomplish so far. We are expecting results THIS MONTH!

Keep on Keeping On!

January 23, 2008 by rescuethetwins

Thank you to those who have shown concern for Kaitlyn and Jessica in all your many ways.

To those of you who have donated, I thank you as well.

In one month we’ve received $67.55 in donations. I thank you. Our goal is $7000 by the end of March.

It’s steep but not impossible.

For The Break…

January 10, 2008 by rescuethetwins

We have had 2 deaths in our family.

It has been over a month since I’ve seen or heard about the twins, so our prayers are continuing for those precious girls.

We have developed something that will be beneficial to the project and will be working on that this week.

Don’t forget our Flyer Campaign! Download the Flyer, print 5 copies, and post them up around town every week! God bless!

Introducing The RescueTheTwins.org Flyer Campaign:

In the next 7 days you should see our flyers all over the Central Valley and across the USA.

You can download a copy of the fliers in PDF form, HERE. Simply print the flyer, and using a pair of scissors cut the tabs along the vertical dotted lines at the bottom so they can easily be ripped off.

Please make a goal of putting up at least 5 a week to join our Flyer Campaign!

Most grocery stores, Wal-Marts and gas stations or markets have public bulletin boards where you can post these flyers.

Other Updates:

We held the Candlelight Vigil on Saturday, December 22nd at 6PM. We will begin holding them at least once a month every month until our goal of protecting Kaitlyn and Jessica is reached.

You can also find items for sale that will help with our financial goals HERE.

To date we have received $0.00 in financial contributions.

We still need, and will continue to need, printing materials (HP 94 ink cartridges), paper for flyers and brochures, and any and all other marketing materials.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT & GOD BLESS YOU!

Candlelight Vigil, Information Rally & Gifts!

December 16, 2007 by rescuethetwins

New gifts at RescueTheTwins.org…gift_pearl.jpgThis is sure to be a jam-packed, fun-filled, information-chunky blog!

On Saturday, December 22nd, 2007 we’ll have a table set up with fliers and information about Kaitlyn and Jessica, RescueTheTwins.org, and how the system has failed them - and the other children in Stanislaus County. We’re planning on being there from 10am to approximately 3pm.

Saturday night at 6pm we’re having a Candlelight Vigil for Kaitlyn and Jessica. We’re hoping this will be an excellent way to raise awareness and also light a fire under Child Protective Services to work faster and harder on protecting the children their supposed to protect.

Location of both rallies are to be announced, but both are likely to be in the Ceres, CA area.

ALSO, in the next couple hours you’re going to see items for sale on RescueTheTwins.org. The reason for this is that we are not a non-profit organization and while anyone can accept gifts, accepting it through the website is harder.

The fact is, simply, that we cannot continue paying for all the expenses of the website, the fliers, the brochures, the photo development, print and copy materials, etc…

Don’t get me wrong. I’ll go homeless before I stop fighting for these girls. But, at the same time, we have to be smart and try to get a little help with this so we can keep going at full speed ahead!

For the Candlelight Vigil & Info Rally we need:

* fliers and copies/materials
* 6″ candles with drip guards
* flashlights
* bottled water
* any food or refreshments
* PA system rental
* photographer to take pictures which can then be used for media purposes
* chairs for rally (i.e. bring your own!)

If those materials are not given to us, it will all be out-of-pocket for us, which is something we cannot bear alone.

Also, we are still pursuing an Attorney. We have been given an estimated Attorney’s fee cost of $5,000 to start. So, for these reasons, we hope you’ll understand why we need to explore many avenues of generating revenues.

THE MAIN FOCUS OF THIS WEBSITE IS TO AIDE IN THE PROTECTION OF KAITLYN AND JESSICA.
NOT to make money or profit.

Thanks and looking for more updates on the website and here, in our blog.

The new RescueTheTwins.org Daily Blog…

December 13, 2007 by rescuethetwins

Things are moving along and keeping a steady momentum.

We’ve had over 14,000 website views, a steady stream of interested
or sympathetic emails and requests from the media.

We have also sparked interest from local and state representatives
throughout California and Stanislaus County.

I’m happy that some people are finally having to stop and take a look
at what’s been allowed to occur within the system, and I’m excited
about the changes that I can see for the future families who will be
affected by those changes…

That’s the “sweet” in the bitter-sweet…

Because while we wait for the changes, while we wait for someone who
genuinely desires to protect children rather than their parents…

While we wait, these 2 innocent little girls are falling through the cracks…

Let me tell you one thing, Jan Viss of Stanislaus County Child Protective Services…

I will be thinking of you and Mr. George Medina, and Officer Nelson, and
Ms. Mary Foster at these little girls’ funeral. A funeral that can be prevented if
you stop the politics and start the protection…
